Big turnout for 15th annual Flyer Classic Palmetto Country Club was the scene on June 3 for the 15th annual Flyer Classic Golf Tournament. Thirty-two teams -- including 10 all-alumni teams -- participated in the event, which is used as a fund raiser for the Loyola Athletic Complex. Charlton Holmes '75/Holmes Honda, Valentine Pharmacy and Dr. Laura Earnest, DDS served as corporate sponsors this year and 26 other businesses supported the event as hole sponsors. As always, Carl King provided a fantastic meal for more than 150 people and Palmetto's club pro, David Martinez ' 89, did a great job in making this a special event. There were five different flights this year -- three in the Open Division and two in the Alumni Division. Here are the results from the 15th annual Flyer Classic: ALUMNI "A"
