Annual Fund Drive begins
In
the next few days, most of you will receive your annual appeal for the Our
graduates have always been a generous and giving group of men and women.
But never in the 103-year history of the school has that been illustrated
more than in the last few months. In
the wake of Hurricane Katrina, our alumni stepped forward and donated more
than $50,000 to our school to assist in tuition for the many students who
were displaced and came to Loyola. Thanks to those generous donations,
these students – at one time, we had 130 from the This
appeal is being made at this time of year because many would like to make
a year-end gift for their 2005 tax purposes. However, it may be more
convenient for you to make a gift/pledge in January. No matter which time
works best, your participation is essential to the success of this drive. Typically,
only 12-15 percent of our alumni contribute. That's too low and with
your help, we can change that number dramatically. When
you receive the appeal, please return the enclosed contribution form at
your earliest convenience. Or you might find it easier to make an online
contribution at http://www.loyolaprep.org/php/donation.htm There is no "Lunch with Loyola" for December ... the next event will be scheduled for January Class of 1995 Reunion
