REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
**ALL INFORMATION IS HELD IN STRICTEST CONFIDENCE**
Decisions regarding financial grants are based on demonstrated financial need, taken from information submitted by the parents or legal guardians of the student on the attached application forms. The final judgment is made by the Financial Assistance Committee of the Board of the Loyola Educational Corporation.
Conditions required of those making application for financial assistance are:
1. A copy of your Federal Income Tax Return along with W-2's and any schedules, for the most recent year (2007) must accompany your application in order to be considered for financial assistance. Even in circumstances involving separation or divorce, both parents should submit copies of tax returns, W-2's, and schedules.
2. Both parents or guardians of the applicant must complete and sign the application form.
3. Applications for financial assistance must be filed no later than April 15, 2008, in order to be considered. The committee will meet and apportion the budgeted funds among the applications received by the deadline.
4. Applying for assistance for more than one student must be made evident on the application form.
5. Grants are for one year only and applicants must reapply each year.
6. Grants apply to TUITION ONLY. Registration fees, student fees and the tuition insurance fee are not included and must be paid by the parent or guardian.
7. Applicants must indicate the amount of assistance requested in dollars on the application form.
8. Applicants must have completed the school registration process for the next school year before the application for financial assistance will be considered.
9. Parents of returning students with prior year accounts must be current and have no outstanding balance in order to be considered for aid for the next school year. Although assistance is awarded in April for the next school year, it will be revoked if the account is not paid in full by May 31st of the current year.
10. Once financial assistance is awarded, the student is required to maintain a 2.0 grade point average with no failing grades. In order for returning Loyola students to be considered, they must have met these minimum requirements.
