Financial Assistance

Following a long-standing tradition, Loyola wishes to assist students who are qualified for, but cannot afford, a Loyola education.

Financial assistance is available to those students whose parents demonstrate financial need. Currently, we are proud to be assisting 25 percent of our student body. More than 50 percent of those receiving assistance are Catholic.

In order to be considered, applicants must:

  1. Complete the school's required application forms
  2. Submit the forms, along with copies of the recent Income Tax forms by the March 31 deadline to the Admissions Office
  3. Have the student properly registered with the school
  4. Be current in the existing account with the school (if applicable)

Financial assistance assists with TUITION ONLY. Registration, student fees and tuition insurance and not covered by this program. Students who qualify are required to maintain a 2.0 minimum grade point average with no failing grades.

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

In addition to the Loyola application for aid, a second source for possible funding for your child’s Loyola education is through TADS. This source is sponsored by the Diocese of Shreveport, and applications are for Catholic students only. To apply, visit Loyola’s website at www.loyolaprep.org and click on the ‘Pay Tuition’ button on the right side of the page. You will then be on the TADS login page where returning clients and log in and new clients can create a new account. This application is also due March 31, 2013.
