2010 Schedule

Flyers win regional; advance to state tournament

The Boys tennis team won the regional tennis tournament in Alexandria as it was an all-Loyola final.

Sphomore Connor Winkler won the boys singles and Christian Spano took second. Anthony McMaster and Ellis Deupree won the boys doubles and Connor Spano and Carter Boyd took second. Also qualifying for the state tournament were Chris Skrivanos and Spencer Huffman.

The girls team took third place place at regionals. Charlotte Barnett took 2nd place in girls singles and Caroline Barbaree and Sophie Rinaudo took 3rd. Pepper Smith and Caroline Hoogland took 5th. Megan Mitton and Rececca Lindley also score points for the girls team.

All qualified for the state tournament in New Orleans next week.
