LOYOLA 63, UNIVERSITY CHRISTIAN 39: The Flyers bounced from a three-game losing streak with a 63-39 win over University Christian. Loyola came out with a 20-point first quarter in the Loyola gym as Charles Winborne had 11 points. Winborne went on to score 20 and Ben Schonfarber had a career-high 13. The win avenged a loss last week to UCP in the Airline Tournament. LOYOLA 64, NORTH CADDO 60: The Flyers moved back into District 1-2A play with a 64-60 win over North Caddo. Loyola led through most of the game in a game that was foul-plagued by both teams (Loyola was 22 of 33 from the free throw line). Charles Winborne had 23 points and Lavar Washington and Garrett Fultz had 12 points each. For Fultz, it was a career high. |
