George makes All-State for second time

After a season in which he had 124 tackles -- 53 more than anybody else on the team -- Loyola's Tripp George was named to the Class 2A All-State team for the second straight year.  The 6-foot-1 junior also had 11 tackles behind the line and broke up five passes.

Already the first Flyer football play to make the All-State team as a sophomore, George now becomes the sixth Flyer to be a two-time All-State player.

George was also named to The Times All-City team as well as the All-District 1-2A team.
