Flyers qualify two for State Tournament

Two Loyola Flyers -- sophomores Scott D'Anna and Thomas Mayfield -- qualified for the state tournament in Alexandria at Links on the Bayou. D'Anna shot 77-79 and finished in 11th place while Mayfield shot 87-77.

In the team competition at the Regionals tournament (also in Alexandria), the Flyers finished fourth as a team. D'Anna and Mayfield qualified for the state tournament based on their individual performances in the Regional tournament.
