Physical Education (CP) – 9th – 12th
Physical Education is based upon the acquisition of knowledge and skills that are the foundation for engaging in physical activity. Our mission is to empower all students to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity as a foundation for healthy, productive, and fulfilling life. Students learn and discuss information relating to the principles of health and skill-related fitness, exercise, and nutrition. Students will participate in fitness exercises and skills, included floor exercises and running. Physical Education may be taken as either a one-semester (0.5 credit) course or a full year (1.0 credit) course. Physical Education may also be taken in multiple years for additional credit.
