Loyola Tennis Team News: Loyola Girls and Boys tennis teams had big wins in the last week over Caddo Magnet and Captain Shreve!
Seniors had big wins in singles and doubles on the boys side from Bo Bowman and Gregor Ghali and Sanders Graf and Charles Valulius On the girls side, big doubles win from Taylor Nash / Mary Marzelle Elberson, Kate Davis and Cassidy Kirk and Sophia Fertitta and Sadie Green

Our ACT/Pre-ACT testing day is approaching. On Tuesday, March 7 all juniors, sophomores and freshmen will participate in this test day. After testing, students will be dismissed. We will not have a regular scheduled school day, but participating in this testing day is required. Seniors do not have to attend school on this day unless they are taking the ACT.
·Just a reminder. As announced previously, no one may sit or lay on the Residence Hall floors during lunch. You may go into a classroom on the religion hall if it is open. The hall is adjacent to the chapel and it is a silent reverent hall. Signs to remind students of its importance are displayed on the doors and in the hallways. In addition, students should not scream down the hall after class whether on the hall or in the stairwell. The chapel is also Father Raney's place to meet with students. Please be respectful of this space and help us keep the chapel a quiet place to pray.
Juniors and Seniors -Three current students from the United States Military Academy at West Point will be here Wednesday, March 8 at 10:45am to talk about their experiences. Any junior or senior interested in attending a military academy or enlisting in the armed forces should attend. Please sign up in Naviance at least 24 hours in advance and contact Mrs. Clark for more information.
A representative from Baylor University will be here on Monday, March 6 at 11:45 am to meet with interested students. Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the visit should sign up in Naviance at least 24 hours in advance.
Both the JV and Varsity Loyola Lacrosse teams will be traveling to Tyler, Tx on Saturday, March 4 to take on Cumberland Academy (7200 Paluxy Dr, Tyler, TX 75703). JV will play at 10:00am and Varsity will follow at 11:30am. Come out and support Flyers Lacrosse!
Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.06-03.10.2023. https://forms.gle/9aQoHo9q9kjHnkhw9- The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Service Hour Opportunity - St. Mark’s is the host school for Kids on the Run race and is looking for 6 volunteers to work the registration table and help along the course route.
Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is currently underway. The registration fee is $300 if registering before the March 15 deadline. Tuition Assistance applications are also due at this time. LCP Parents are invited to attend the St. John Berchmans Silent Auction event “Lights, Camera, Auction!” scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at Artspace.
