March 28, 2024Announcements for March 28, 2024 - Today is an A day.
- School will be closed Friday, March 29th through Monday, April 1st for Easter break. Classes will resume Tuesday, April 2nd, which will be a late start day.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.01-04.05.2024. https://forms.gle/2mXoadv3PJH5wzsL6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- All students who received National Honor Society invitations need to turn in their packets to Mrs. Basinger in room 108 by the end of the school day on Thursday, March 28th.
- Loyola Freshman/JV Cheer will be hosting a mandatory interest meeting on Tuesday, April 9th in the Loyola Gym at 5:30. Please register using the following link: https://forms.gle/C9VdadqtxjjTn4Dp9
- If you were unable to attend the Chess Club meeting last Friday, email Mr. Pachankis for more information.
- Hey Flyers! If you are interested in becoming a SGA Executive Board officer, elections are coming up! This is a great way to be a student leader and get more involved at Loyola. If you haven’t already, please join the SGA Google Classroom HERE. There will be an interest meeting for everyone wanting to run for a position on Thursday, March 28th in B3. - Prom will be held at Loyola on Saturday April 6, 8-10pm.
- A Loyola College Prep Dance Guest Form must be completed for guests from other schools who will be accompanying any LCP student to prom. The form must be returned to the office no later than 2:30pm April 3rd.. Forms are attached or you may pick one up in the office.

- Alumni Scholarship Opportunity! Both the Flyer Alumni Association and the St. Vincent's Academy Alumnae Association offer special scholarship opportunities to Loyola students. For more information and to apply, click here. Deadlines for both applications are April 5, 2024.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana is looking for volunteers on April 27th from 10:00 AM until 6:00 pm to collaborate on the kids area at the TACO WARS in the Municipal Auditorium. Volunteers will help with kids and crafts and keeping supplies organized. Volunteers will work in turns of 2 hours minimum.

Volunteers will be needed from 9:45AM - 1:30PM to help act as ushers, spotters, assisting board members, and delivering prizes to tables. - Loyola Rosary Group - The Rosary Group will begin to pray for the Senior Class of 2024. We welcome any senior parents who would like to join us in the weeks ahead as we pray for their students. This week our intentions are focused on the success and future of Mary Crawford, Lindsay Defatta, Lillie Doege, Maddie Ebarb, Mary Marzelle Elberson, Matthew Frierson, Jude Gaitan, Sarah Ellis Genovese, Grace Ghali, Maggie Googe, Sanders Graf, Rowen Guthikonda William Hardtner, Hugh Herzog, Sydney Hight, Henry Hoang, Laney Holbron, Landon Hooper, Tyler Hornsby, and Colin Huckabay. May God bless and watch over these students as they graduate from Loyola and enter into the next chapter of their lives.
Due to the Easter Break we will not hold Monday Morning Rosary on April 1. We will resume the Monday Morning Rosary Workout at 8 AM in the Volleyball Lounge on Monday, April 8th and Rosary Prayer group Wednesdays at 1:30pm in the Resident's Chapel or outside if the weather is nice.
